Unless you're an old school gamer, (and hardcore at that) you wouldn't know who that was. Very cool.
I'd give it a 9 (so far) The biggest complaint I've read about this game, is that it's too repetitive. EVERY game is repetitive (God of War and Halo...find enemy...destroy...Over and over and over) People expected GOTY with this title, which it's not, but it is one of the best games out his year. Buy it and enjoy it, don't listen to whinney game reviewing losers.
popped their RPG cherry on FF7, that's why it's the "famous" one. But had they been born just a few years earlier, they would acknowledge the superiority of FF6. 7 SHOULD have made the list, no doubt, but 6 was the better game.
But I just beat Bioshock today, and the story is phenomenal. Tough to say anything bad about a near perfect game. The bad things that are being said about Bioshock are coming out of the mouths of people who can't play it (PS3 fanboys) IT ROCKS!!!
Have you REALLY finished of the first disc?? Or are you just agreeing with someone else's review/opinion? I'm only a couple hours into it, and I think it's like MANY rpg's. A story has to build. EVERY Final Fantasy has a slow start (Yes, I've played them ALL...1-11)
The story is great, and disc 1 is a blast.
It got a 9 and 8.75 from Game Informer. As an owner of the game, I think Game Informer got it right, and Gamespot got it wrong.

I however would give it closer to an 8.5-9. It really is a work of art...but yes they're are a few glitches. Hopefully a patch will be out soon. If you liked Oblivion, give this a try. It really is great, but bad word of mouth started with the PC's poor launch and it has snowballed from there. Get out there and judge it for yourselves...you'll be pleased.
It has gotten great scores OVERALL...Game Informer game it a 9 and a 8.75. There have been a few lower score in the mix, but overall they haav been phenomenal. Once I beat Bioshock and Two Worlds, this is next.
But according to MOST (not all) of the flaming PS3 fanboys on this site, they hate western RPG styles...that's why they own a PS3, for the JRPG's. So this game should be nothing to brag about if you own a PS3 anyway.

But the greatest Sonic game EVER was Sonic CD. The 32 bit game on Sega CD. AWESOME!!!
The demo's widescreen was GREAT. I doubt this would have changed between the demo and the release.

but I always thought that FF6 (3 on SNES) was the best in the series. If they did a nice remake (the Playstation 1 remake doesn't count) I'd like to see FF6 done. FF7 may be my second choice though.
The term "best" is a very personal opinion. I'm sure Lair, Metroid Prime 3, & Moto GP 07 will ALL be wonderful, but NONE of them are my cup of tea. It's a stupid article that will be debated by stupid people.
